A person who fell ill after falling ill while returning from Tilicho Lake (4,919 meters) in Manang has been rescued.

Birendra Rasaili, 45, of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-31, was rescued and sent for treatment, said Chief District Officer Nawaraj Paudyal.

According to him, he had come to Tanki Manang, an upper area of ​​Manang, after visiting Tilicho Lake on Monday. The news that he had fallen ill due to a cold was received around 11 am on Tuesday.

A rescue team deployed from the Nepal Mountain Rescue Training School of the Armed Police Force in Humde put him on a stretcher and brought him to the Humde health post. He was treated at the Humde health post throughout the day and was taken to Chame for further treatment with oxygen after the road was cleared, informed Chief District Officer Paudyal.
