Two people have been arrested for behaving indecently towards police personnel working at the District Police Office, Syangja. The police have arrested two people for assaulting and abusing police officers deployed on duty.
Those arrested are Saugil Gurung and 32-year-old Saujan Gurung of Putalibazaar Municipality-3.
A Deusi-Bhailo program was being conducted in Badkhola, Putalibazaar-3. Acting Information Officer Pravesh Tiwari informed that they misbehaved with the police personnel deployed for security during an argument over playing Deusi-Bhailo. Inspector Tiwari said that a case of misbehavior has been registered against them at the District Administration Office and their remand has been extended by 10 days.
Police had taken Saugil under control on Friday and Saujan on Saturday.
