One more person has died of measles in Yakkharka, Narpabhumi Rural Municipality-4, Manang.

According to the District Administration Office, Manang, 49-year-old Samba Ghale of Kispang Rural Municipality-1 in Nuwakot died on the spot after falling asleep at around 3 pm on Friday.

Earlier, Dil Bahadur Gurung of Khonlasothar Rural Municipality-4 in Lamjung and Bhujung died after falling asleep in the same area in Kangla Phedi on Saturday.

According to Manang Chief District Officer Nawaraj Paudyal, Samba Ghale fell ill while returning from Yakkharka carrying a load of tourists. He died shortly after falling ill, according to the deceased's son-in-law Maris Tamang.

The District Administration Office has stated that immediate rescue operations were not possible due to bad weather. 

According to Chief District Officer Paudyal, the incident site is about 14 kilometers north of the police post Chhyakhu, which requires about 12 hours of walking.

The body will be brought by helicopter on Sunday, according to the District Administration Office, Manang. This Yakkharka is located at an altitude of about 4,000 meters above sea level.
