Senior agriculture officer dies in motorcycle accident

Police Inspector Kamal Nepali of the District Police Office informed that the bullet motorcycle bearing number Lu 51 Pa 3797, which was riding in Lamsal, Amdanda, lost control and fell 100 meters off the road. According to friends from Lamsal, the incident took place around 11 am.

Senior agriculture officer Madhav Prasad Lamsal has died in a motorcycle accident in Syangja.

Lamsal, 45, who is the head of the National Agriculture Project Unit Office, Pokhara, is a resident of Putalibazaar Municipality-14, Lamage. On Friday morning, he had gone to the Chandi Sattau Temple in the same place with his friends. He was alone while returning from the temple. 

The Bullet motorcycle (Lu 51 Pa 3797) carrying Lamsal in Amdanda fell 100 meters below the road after it went out of control, informed District Police Office Police Inspector Kamal Nepali. According to Lamsal's friends, the incident occurred around 11 am. After not being contacted for 3/4 hours, his relatives informed the police. The police said that he was found dead at the scene at 4 pm during a search. 

According to the police, he suffered severe head injuries. Lamsal's body has been taken to the District Hospital Syangja for a post-mortem, Inspector Nepali said.
