A young man has been found dead on the road to Ghattekhola in Marsyangdi Rural Municipality-8, Lamjung.
According to the District Police Office, Lamjung, a police team reached the spot after receiving information about the body being found on the road around 4 pm on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Bikash Pariyar, 31, of Bhuvanbasti, Bharatpur Metropolitan City-17, police said.
Pariyar was identified by his maternal uncle, Aitaman Pariyar, a resident of Taranche, Marsyangdi Rural Municipality-7. According to the police, Pariyar had been living at his maternal uncle's house since the day after Dashain Purnima (Asoj 22). He was found dead on Wednesday morning when he left to return home, police said.
The body has been taken to the Provincial Hospital, Lamjung, for a post-mortem, informed District Police Chief DSP Resham Bohara. According to him, further investigation into the incident is underway.
