82-year-old Yajnynidhi Tiwari of Bensishahar Municipality-11 Tiwaridanda of Lamjung died due to the bite of an aringal.

Tiwari, who was walking on the road around 5:30 pm on Sunday evening, was suddenly bitten by countless stingrays. He was seriously injured due to burns on different parts of his body. Locals immediately rescued him and took him to Provincial Hospital, Bensishahr for treatment. After the initial treatment at the

hospital, Tiwari was referred to the old medical college in Bharatpur, Chitwan for further treatment. Police Inspector Rajkishore Sah Teli, information officer of District Police Office Lamjung, informed that he died during treatment on Monday at 4:30 am.

According to him, while walking on the road near his house, Tiwari became unconscious after being stung by countless Aringals at once. He said that Tiwari died during treatment.
