Relief has been distributed to the families of three martyrs who died during the Gen-G movement on August 23 and 24. District Administration Office Gorkha has distributed the relief amount at the rate of 15 lakh rupees.
On Sunday, Chief District Officer Ramuraj Kadaria informed that relief money has been provided to the family of Anish Parajuli of Palungtar Municipality-3.
Anish's wife Manju Paudel has been handed over the relief money. According to the directives of the Ministry, 10 lakhs of financial assistance and 5 lakhs of kazkiriya and transport expenses have been provided. Four Gorkha people including Parajuli died during the
movement. He said that relief funds have been distributed to the families of Bimalbabu Bhatt of Barpak Sulikot Rural Municipality-5 and Arjun Bhatt of Gandaki Rural Municipality-4.
He said that the relief money has yet to be distributed to the family of Saroj Gurung of Siranchok Rural Municipality-2.
