According to him, the traffic from Bensi Sahar to Kathmandu, Chitwan, Pokhara towards Dumre and Manang towards Chame is running smoothly.
Due to the possibility of heavy rain, the administration issued a public notice on Saturday and stopped the movement of vehicles in and out of the district until October 18, 19 and 20.
DSP Bohra said that the vehicles entered Lamjung from Kathmandu, Chitwan, Pokhara and from Lamjung also went towards it.
The chief district officer of Manang, Navraj Paudyal, said that traffic from Manang to Lamjung and from Lamjung to Manang has started.
He said that the previous decision to stop the night time remains in place even though there is traffic for the afternoon. In the afternoon, there was no fear of floods and landslides, the weather was getting better. At night, narrow roads, slippery roads can be a problem, stones can fall from above, so now we don't open the road at night, he said.
The vehicles towards Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan were not running on Saturday. Businessmen have said that since Sunday morning, vehicles have started plying towards Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan carrying passengers and vehicles have also started plying towards Lamjung from that place.
