Chief Minister of Gandaki Province Surendraraj Pandey has said that those who instigate and destroy the movement should be brought to justice.
While inspecting the structures damaged in Pokhara due to the Genji movement on Tuesday, he said that those who vandalize private and government properties should be brought under the scope of action. He said that the government at all levels should be serious about the legitimate demands raised by the youth.
He said that more plans will be made according to the policy taken by the Union Government regarding the reconstruction of physical structures under the provinces and the budget given to the provinces. He also appealed to the general public to help in the reconstruction of the damaged structure.
Pandey inspected the Office of the Chief Minister and the Council of Ministers, the Provincial Assembly, the District Administration Office Kaski, the District Police Office Kaski, the Office of the Abuse of Authority Investigation Commission Pokhara, and the Chief Minister's residence.
Chief Minister Pandey was in Dubai on August 23 and August 24 when the Genji movement took place. He went to participate in the International Kaski Conference held on August 21 and 22. Pandey, who returned to Nepal three days ago, came to Pokhara on Tuesday.
