Food Management and Trade Company Limited branch office Gorkha has brought food concession shop into operation targeting the festival. Targeting the festivals like Dasain, Tihar, Chhath, the concession shop has been brought into operation from Monday.

Rajna Kunwar, head of the office, said that rice will be sold at a discount of Rs.

She said that steam cumin rice costing Rs. 90 per kg and Aruva Sona Mansuli rice costing Rs. 65 per kg were sold at Rs. 60 per kg. Similarly, from Sirdiwas Food Depot, steam cumin rice at Rs. 92 per kg will be sold at Rs. 87 and Aruva Sona Mansuli rice at Rs. 65 per kg. Food discount price shop will be operational till 10th of October.
