Demonstrators set fire to the private residence of Kawasoti Municipality Mayor Bishnu Prasad Bhusal.

All the belongings of the mayor's house on the fourth floor were taken out and set on fire. Kawasoti Nagar office was also set on fire.

After the curfew order, the army team that came down from the Hattikhor barracks of Kawasoti is sitting at the district police office.

Protesters who entered the mayor's house from 1:30 in the afternoon took out the goods and set fire to it. Mayor Bhusal's house is located in the main market of Kawasoti on Mahendra Highway. It is close to 300 meters from the district police office.

Chief District Officer Bhaviswar Pandey  Curfew orders have been issued in the Kawasoti area from 2:30 p.m.
