All the belongings of the mayor's house on the fourth floor were taken out and set on fire. Kawasoti Nagar office was also set on fire.

Protesters who entered the mayor's house from 1:30 in the afternoon took out the goods and set fire to it. Mayor Bhusal's house is located in the main market of Kawasoti on Mahendra Highway. It is close to 300 meters from the district police office.

Chief District Officer Bhaviswar Pandey  Curfew orders have been issued in the Kawasoti area from 2:30 p.m.
