A dead body of a woman has been found on the bank of Trishuli River in Gandaki Rural Municipality-8 Barkheghat.

The body of 51-year-old Umadevi Bhatt of Nuwakot Vidur Municipality-8 was found, said Police Inspector Dhruv Prasad Sharma of District Police Office Gorkha.

The body was washed away by the Trishuli river, the police said. A team led by Police Inspector Dhruva Prasad Sharma from the District Police Office has been deployed at the incident site.

The police said that the body has been identified and that work is being done at the scene of the incident.
