On August 22, the rural municipality has issued a public notice and informed that public holiday has been given to public bodies such as rural municipality offices, subordinate ward offices, health institutions, schools, etc.
Chepang community resides in Sahid Lakhan Rural Municipality and Gandaki Rural Municipality of Gorkha. Chepang community living in Tanglichok, Makaising, Bhumlichok, Gyalchok of Shahid Lakhan Rural Municipality-4 Taklung, Gandaki Rural Municipality celebrates Nwagi festival as a special festival.
