The speaker of the assembly claimed that if the land bill is passed and implemented as a law, Madhes will be transformed into Bharubhoomi. They emphasized that this bill will benefit the land mafias of Nepal and that all Terai/Madhes should be united against it.
In the protest meeting held at Buddhchowk, the district president of Civil Liberation Party Omprakash Chaudhary, the president of Janata Pragatisheel Party Radheraman Pandey, the district president of Democratic Samajwadi Party Mukurji Giri and others said that because they opposed the land bill, JSP Nepal President Upendra Yadav was trying to trap him by provoking the Gaur incident and said that a strong movement was started against it.
This land bill passed by the House of Representatives and reached the National Assembly. There is a provision to sell and to sell structures such as residential houses built on it . Claiming that it was brought under the guise of land mafia, they have warned of strong resistance against this bill.
