60-year-old Arjun Ghale of Barpak Sulikot Rural Municipality-1, who slipped and disappeared while trying to retrieve a sheep washed away by the river, has been found dead.
On Friday, Barpak Sulikot-1, while bringing sheep from a shed near the Kiswara river to the bus park, a sheep slipped from the bridge and was swept away by the river. Ghale also slipped and disappeared in the river while trying to retrieve the sheep that had been swept away from the Kathe bridge of the Kiswara river.
When local and police searched, Ghale was found dead in Khoch 30 feet below Kathepul, said DSP Indra Prasad Subedi of District Police Office Gorkha. The incident site is two hours north of the police station Barpak. The incident is being investigated The police said.
