The road leading to North Gorkha was blocked due to a landslide in Dobhan of Dharche

The road has been blocked due to a landslide along the Khotrang river in Dharche rural municipality-3 Dobhan. On Thursday night, traffic was blocked due to a landslide on the main road leading to the northern region.

Chairman of Dharche Rural Municipality, Lakshman Gurung, said that even till Friday morning, small and big stones were falling on the road. As there is a high risk of getting into an accident while traveling through that road, the municipality has requested pedestrians to use an alternative route.

Locals of Chumanuvri and Dharche use to travel through this road. "There is a risk of stones falling from above. Since the landslide area is small, there is no place for the stones to escape. Due to the stones falling, it is not possible to repair the road immediately," he said.
