An electronic medical record system has been started at the GP Koirala National Respiratory Treatment Center at Shuklagandaki Municipality-5 Velchautara in the district.

Health and Population Minister Pradeep Paudel formally launched the system during a program on Tuesday. With the technical support of the World Health Organization, this technique was practiced in the hospital on May 14th.

The government established the center in the name of former Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala to establish it as the best respiratory treatment center in South Asia. The Center has received 740 ropani land in Belchautara of Shuklagandaki municipality.
