An agreement has been reached between Pokhara Metropolitan City and Cheong Yong County Sports Committee of the Republic of Korea to enhance friendly and cooperative relations in sports activities.
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Municipal Corporation and the Committee on Tuesday. The letter was signed by Chief Administrative Officer Muktiram Aryal on behalf of the Metropolitan Municipality and Han Gwang Seok on behalf of the committee.
Metropolitan Municipality Chief Dhanraj Acharya said that the agreement was reached with the aim of enhancing friendly relations between the two sides through sports activities, exchanging visits between players, coaches and sports lovers, providing coordination and support to further improve Pokhara's sports and athletes' performance, necessary coordination and cooperation in the export of products related to Korean sports as well as other goods and services. He believes that this agreement will contribute significantly to the improvement of the skills of
players. "This agreement will be important to enhance the skills and expertise of our players in football, boxing, taekwondo, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, lawn tennis, athletics, marathon and other sports," said Chief Acharya. It will also be easy to increase.
Cheong Yong County Sports Committee Chairman Han Gwang Seok said that advanced technology and training methods will be provided to improve the performance of Pokhara players. He said that they are ready to exchange youth players, conduct school level sports programs, support sports organizations in Pokhara in professional level skill development, and look for potential areas of sports activities within Pokhara metropolis as a whole.
