Chairman of Congress Madhyabindu City Committee Doman Bhandari has joined the Rashtriya Swatantra Party. Chairman Bhandari entered the party during a program organized at the central office of the RSVP on Thursday.

Three days ago, Bhandari joined RSVP after handing over the responsibility of acting chairman to the vice-chairman of his city committee, Jitu Thapa. Bhandari held the responsibility of chairman of Madhyabindu City Committee of Congress for two consecutive terms. 

His house was the office of Congress Nagar Committee. 

Chandra Bahadur Rana, Deputy Chairman of Congress Nawalparasi, said that after handing over the post, Bhandari left the party and handed over the keys to the party office at home. 

Bhandari, who joined RSVP, is also a football player. Earlier, Congress General Committee member Gokul Sapkota and Central Vice President of Trade Union Congress Lalit Shrestha also went to RSVP.
