Beni-Jomsom and Beni-Darbang road blocked

The Beni-Jomsom road has been completely blocked after a landslide occurred at a distance of 76 km of the Myagdi section.

The Beni-Darbang road that connects Mustang with the national highway and the three local levels of Myagdi with the district headquarters Beni Bazar has been blocked since this morning.

The Myagdi section of the 76 km Beni-Jomsom road has been completely blocked due to landslides in Raghuganga Rural Municipality-2 Majkhark, Annapurna Rural Municipality-3 Sukebagar and 7 Mahbhir. 

Beni-Darbang road connecting Mangala, Malika and Dhawalagiri rural municipality was blocked due to a landslide in Faparkhet which is on the border of Beni municipality-4 and Mangala rural municipality-2. Vishal Darzi, head of the district traffic police office said. 

As the road is blocked, the traffic connection from the headquarters Beni to the rural areas is broken and the life here is affected. According to the police, efforts are being made to open the Beni-Darbang road through the road department's dozer and the infrastructure development office.
