The Dumkibas-Bardghat road section is operating only one-way after a cargo vehicle got stuck at the Paishathi turn of the East-West highway. On Friday morning, two vehicles with Indian license plates got stuck when the road became muddy and slippery due to rain near Pansaththi turn of Binayi Triveni rural municipality ward number-2.

Madhu Nepal, DSP of District Police Office Nawalpur, said that although the vehicles going from east to west could not operate, the vehicles coming from Bardghat towards Dumkibas could operate.

There is a long traffic jam despite the one-way traffic. Even in normal rains, the road is slippery and the traffic is affected, so the passengers traveling through this section have to suffer.
