Due to the slippery road, the traffic has been started in the valley of East Nawalparasi, which was blocked due to the fact that goods vehicles could not go uphill.

The road which was blocked since 8 o'clock on Thursday morning, after the mud has dried up, the traffic has been operating smoothly.

There was a long traffic jam on the east-west highway when a vehicle got stuck near the Vinayi Triveni Rural Municipality-2 Vishwakarma temple. Chief Janak Banjara of Nawalpur District Traffic Police Office said that now that the mud has dried up, the traffic operation is easy.

Although the traffic was operated for a few hours on Monday evening, the road was blocked again from Tuesday morning. The traffic that was smooth throughout the day on Wednesday was blocked again on Thursday morning and passengers had to sit in the jam for hours.

Passengers in Daunane have been suffering for years due to the problem of slippery roads and road flooding during normal rains.
