A fire broke out at Kaligandaki polytechnic school located in Ghiring rural municipality-1 Puttar at around 2 o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday.

A fire broke out at Kaligandaki Multi-Technical School located in Ghiring Rural Municipality-1 Puttar at around two o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday.
It is said that there was a fire in the storage room of the school due to a power cut.
According to Krishna Bahadur Shrestha, head of the school, documents, computers, printers and two fans were destroyed in the fire. "We were in the canteen at that time because it was lunch time", he said, "We came to know about the fire after seeing smoke from the window of the storage room". Chief Shrestha said that there was no further damage from the fire as it was extinguished on time.
