In Lamjung this year, the wages of workers who have been making a living by working all day have increased. Chief District Officer Madhav Prasad Pokharel said that according to the Public Procurement Regulations and the decision of the District Rate Determination Committee, the daily wage of skilled workers is Rs 1,200.

Last year and the previous financial year, the daily wages of skilled carpenters, carpenters, carpenters, carpenters, painters, electricians, mechanics, plumbers were 1 thousand 190 rupees, and for the current financial year, they have increased by 10 rupees. The daily rate of semi-skilled workers has been increased from 930 rupees to 940 rupees. The daily wage of skilled workers working inside the tunnel has been increased from 1,242 rupees to 1,250 rupees. Ardhadaksh has been increased from 989 rupees to 1000 rupees per day. The heavy equipment driver's salary has been increased by Rs 15 from Rs 1,300 to Rs 1,320.

Unskilled workers have been increased from 863 to 870 rupees, tunnel workers have been increased from 926 rupees to 14 rupees to 940 rupees . Helpers of heavy equipment, survey and electrician have been increased from 668 to 675 rupees.

Similarly, the daily wage of a porter who carries 40 kilos and delivers 4 boxes has been increased from 796 rupees by 9 rupees to 805 rupees. The salary of agricultural workers has been increased from 731 to 740 rupees. Chowkidar, Pean, Pale, Messenger and Dhalpa have been increased from Rs 705 to Rs 710 per day .

According to Chief District Officer Pokharel, the rate has been fixed for 8 hours per day. He said that it can be increased by 25 percent due to the increase in wages for night work. According to him, the wage rate was determined by the chief district officer along with the District Coordinating Committee, Office of the Controller of Finance and Accounts, Nepal Construction Professionals Association, Lamjung Industry and Trade Association, officials of the Infrastructure Office.
