25 years ago, the armed police took control of the vast Budgaonchaur in Kushma Bazar. After that, the players were confused due to lack of field. Sports activities were almost zero.

There were vacant lands in the name of various government offices in Badgaunchaur. The same land was cleared and made into a sports field. Sports activities also started to increase. The players and sports lovers of Kushmeli were shocked.

However, the players have become disappointed after the barely prepared playing field was flooded due to the sewage coming out of the government offices. They say that even though they requested the local people's representative to manage the sewage of their office, they refused. It is the only common playground in Kushma located in Budgaon, Kushma Municipality-5. School level children gather every morning and evening and participate in sports activities. Now an open gymnasium has also been constructed in Chaur.

There are more than a dozen government offices. When they don't clean the normal drains in front of their offices, the amount of rainwater gets piled up on the playground,'' said Anish Shrestha, vice president of Kushma Sports Club. The hospital says that the problem arose when it was not done. "Sewage not only of the hospital but also of all the government offices around here reaches the playground," Shankar Giri, the outgoing president of the hospital management committee said, "We have managed the sewage to flow to the gate of the hospital." Other offices have not paid attention to the construction of the drain before them. Because of this, as soon as there is little rain, the playground becomes slippery. He left the hospital a month ago.

Ward Chairman of Kushma Municipality-5 Ramhari Sharma said that the playground was damaged due to the negligence of the government office. "Are we the people's representatives treating sports and athletes as ornaments, and the offices of the development center do whatever they want?" How long has it been since the wall at the back of the infrastructure office was demolished? No need to clean it. The water there has gone to all the fields.'

District Sports Development Committee President Buddha Puna was informed about the sports field by the players. But he is not able to do anything. He says, 'The budget has been requested for the protection of the playground. The budget did not come from the top.

Harkman Gurung, the former chairman of the District Sports Development Committee, said that even when he was the chairman, he had repeatedly requested the Maidan for a budget, but there was no hearing from anywhere.

The long and high Kushma-Gyadi suspension bridge, which is said to be the first in Nepal, has also been damaged. The foundation of the bridge is placed at the edge of the playground. Residents say that the risk to the bridge is increased due to the constant rain during the rainy season and the water mixed with it. They understand that if the sewage is not properly managed on time, the lifespan of the playground and the high suspension bridge will not last for many years.  Football, volleyball, handball, cricket, martial arts and other games are being played on the

playground. Now the players are not able to enter the field as the playing field is muddy. "Sports are said to be healthy, but the playground itself is sick," said Ram Shrestha, president of the Karate Federation. In addition to the Provincial Hospital Mount, and the infrastructure development office, there are Red Cross, Armed Police Force, Skill Development, Research Commission, District Court, Post Office, Agricultural Knowledge Center, Water Supply, Education, Surveyor, Malpot, Government Attorney's Office, Animal Expert Center, District Health, Nepal Journalist Federation and other offices around the

playground. Rainwater flowing from all these offices directly reaches the playground.
