2 seriously injured people referred to Chitwan
6 people were injured in an auto accident in Benisahar municipality-6 of Lamjung. Out of the injured, 2 seriously have been sent to the old medical center in Chitwan.
According to the police, an auto numbered G.P.04001 and 0285, which was going to Khudi from Bensi Sahar, fell into the Marsyangdi river about 100 meters down from Kharakre Bhir around 1:30 pm on Thursday. According to District Police Chief DSP Resham Bohra, 6 people, including the driver, were injured and they were rescued and taken to Bensi Sahar State Hospital Lamjung for treatment. The car has been washed away by the river.
Syanumaya Gurung, 45, who lives in Mangaon, Mangaon, Arughat Rural Municipality-1, Syanumaya Gurung, 45, who lives in Chanaute, and Sushmita Tamang, 45, who lives in Tadi Rural Municipality-2, Nuwakot, and currently lives in Bensishar Municipality-6, said DSP Bohra, who has been referred to the old medical college Chitwan for further treatment.
The other injured are Top Bahadur Lama, 30 years old from Marsyangdi Rural Municipality-4 Taghring of Lamjung, 35-year-old Anjali Gurung, 48-year-old Dhankumari Gurung and 40-year-old Shiladevi Gurung who are currently living in Mangaon Arughat-1 Mangaon of Gorkha and are currently living in Bensishar-6 Chanaute.
According to the preliminary study of the police, the accident may have happened due to the difficult road of the landslide, the number of passengers exceeding capacity and the car going out of control while driving at a high speed.
