Kaligandaki corridor blocked

Under the Kaligandaki Corridor, the road has been blocked at Gandakot in East Nawalparasi. The road was blocked after a dry landslip fell in Gaindakot municipality-3 near the winter river on Tuesday morning.

DSP Madhu Nepal of the District Police Office said that efforts are being made to open the blocked road. Passengers going to Palpa via Gandakot and coming from Palpa to Gandakot, Chitwan have been stranded due to the landslide.

East-West Highway traffic jams for a long time and travel is difficult due to dust and mud, as an alternative route, the traffic has increased in Kaligandaki Corridor recently.
