On the occasion of Bhimsen Thapa's birth anniversary, Bhimsen Thapa Rural Municipality has given a public holiday on Friday 9th July.
According to the rural municipality, a public holiday was given on the occasion of the 251st birth anniversary of Bhimsen Thapa, the first Mukhtiyar of Nepal.
Last June 32, it was decided by the village executive to give a public holiday. The rural municipality office and subordinate offices will be closed on Friday, the rural municipality informed through a public notice.
