Chief Minister of Gandaki Province Surendraraj Pandey is going on a seven-day visit to China on Tuesday.

A five-member team led by Chief Minister Pandey is going to China to participate in the program organized on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of Nepal-China diplomatic relations. The chief minister's wife, Congress chief whip Nanda Prasad Neupane, UML chief whip Govinda Bahadur Nepali and chief minister Pandey's press coordinator Narahari Sapkota will also participate in the

tour team.

The team led by Chief Minister Pandey is scheduled to meet the leaders of the Chinese Communist Party in Lhasa and Linzhi.

In Lhasa, the party secretary of the Tibetan Autonomous Regional Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, Mr. Wang Junzheng, the party secretary of the Linzhi Municipal Committee, Ao Liuchwan, and the Deputy Secretary and Mayor of Linzhi City People's Government Bata have been scheduled to meet.

The visiting team will travel to China from Pokhara International Airport. The team will return to Pokhara on July 12.

The Cabinet meeting of the Union Government held on June 23 approved Chief Minister Pandey's visit to China.
