project has not been completed, some people have not been able to plant paddy this year. Those who were left barren due to lack of irrigation are now hoping to be able to plant. "Now it seems that we will be able to plant rice," local Sita Poudel said, "If the work had been completed on time, we would not have suffered this rain, next year it would have been easy to plant."

After taking the water to Paiyumpata, 10 main and 131 small springs will have to be made in Dumkphant through 75 gate balls through the distribution tank.

So far water has reached the main tank but there is a problem in distribution. Chhetri also said that pipelines have yet to be laid for systematic water distribution in the district.

Vishal Thapa, engineer of the project, said that since the main part of the work has been completed, the minor works will be completed soon.
