35-year-old Tharpun Gurung of Chumanuvri Rural Municipality-3, Sirdiwas, died after falling from a mountain. While returning home from Chumanuvri-4 Namrung on Tuesday, Gurung became uncontactable.

During the search, Gurung was found dead in Bhir about 300 meters below the Goretto road on the Manaslu footpath on Wednesday, DSP Indra Prasad Subedi of District Police Office Gorkha said. The police also said that the incident is being investigated.
