District Administration Office Kaski has restricted public-private vehicle traffic from Wednesday to reduce the potential risk of floods and landslides to passengers and vehicles.
The administration, through a notice on Wednesday, has banned vehicular movement in Ghandruk, Ulleri, Landruk and Tangting at night. It is mentioned in the notification that the vehicles going from Virethanti to Ghandruk, Virethanti to Ulleri, Lumle to Landruk in Kaski should leave the departure point by 5 pm. It has been decided that the vehicle traveling from Kahunkhola to Tangting should leave for the destination within 4:30 in the afternoon.
Ghandruk to Virethanti, Ulleri to Virethanti, Landruk to Lumle, Tangting to Kahunkhola vehicles will be allowed to leave from the departure point to the destination after 5 am, Assistant Chief District Officer Shiv Lamsal said. There are police units everywhere. From there you will be informed about possible risks. All monitoring is done from there," he said.
