Three bridges have been damaged by the flood in the Chungjung river (Namdo river) on the Nechung side of the Lomanthang-Korla road section in Lomanthang Rural Municipality-2 Choser on the North China border.

According to Lomanthang Rural Municipality President Tasi Nharvu Gurung, it is estimated that the flood may have occurred due to the bursting of the Jaka Lake or any other snow lake located at the foothills of the Mustang Range on the border of Nepal-China.

Lomanthang Rural Municipality-4 The flood from Chhuama peak, which is above Chhonhup, has come down through Chungjung stream and mixed with Kaligandaki river. The flood has damaged three motor bridges in Chonhup area. The motor bridge connecting Korla Naka of Kaligandaki Corridor is also at risk due to floods. 

According to Karm Namgyal Gurung, the ward president of Lomanthang rural municipality-2 Choser, there has been no rain in the Lomanthang area for the last one week .

According to Ward President Gurung, even in the year 2044, a flood caused by the bursting of a glacier in the peak peak of the Nepal-China border Mustang snow chain from Chonghup in Namsung near Chhoser covered hundreds of plantations of cultivated land .

When the same flood came from Kaligandaki river, along with Mustang, Kalipul market of Beni was inundated through Magdika Dana, Tatopani, Pokhre Bagar, Tiplyang.
