After the mud of the road section under Mahendra Rajmarg has dried up, the traffic has been operated in both directions.

Due to the drying of the hilly road in Daunne, the problem of vehicle getting stuck near the Vishwakarma temple has been eliminated.

The police said that since the morning of Monday, two-way traffic has been operating in Daunne due to the fact that the highway is dry and the vehicles are not stuck.

On Monday, the district traffic police said that hundreds of vehicles traveling east-west on the Mahendra highway were crossing each other.

The Chinese contractor company China State Engineering Corporation, which got the contract for highway upgrading, has not done any road maintenance work in Daunne even though the highway is dry and easy to work on.

Because the road is dry, it is easy to take gravel there and repair it, but the contractor has not done the work of repairing the road and constructing the drain.

The problem is the same that hundreds of vehicles suffer because of long traffic jams every day due to the fact that goods vehicles get stuck during normal rains.

For the first time since last three weeks, double traffic has been operated in Monday Downne.
