The Benisahar Municipality of Lamjung honored 4 farmers on Monday with Rs 8,000 each.
Mayor Gumansingh Aryal said that the farmers have been honored by organizing a program in the office for making a significant contribution in the agricultural sector.

Mamta Adhikari, Head of Municipal Agricultural Development Branch, said that subsidies were given on the basis of farmers selling vegetables in the 'Kisan Garma' established in Bansi Sahar. She said that 20 farmers have been provided subsidy support of 27 thousand 40 rupees.
