The police arrested 50-year-old Dhruvaraj Bhandari of Chapakot Municipality-9 Suntalitar, who was absconding after the District Court Syangja sentenced him to three years and six months imprisonment and a fine of Rs 150,000 in the forced labor industry case.

On Thursday, the police arrested and brought him to the District Court Syangja for payment of imprisonment and fine collection, according to information officer Pravesh Tiwari on behalf of the District Police.

According to Police Inspector Tiwari, in order to make the execution of the judgment of the district court swift, correct and effective, the police have conducted a campaign to arrest the absconding defendants with the thought of creating a safe and just society.
