The District Administration Office Manang has banned the operation of vehicles at night on the main road Chame-Khangsar and Bensi Sahar-Chame road section of Upper Manang.

Keeping in mind the risk of floods and landslides that may occur due to rain, traffic operations have been banned at night, according to the District Administration Office Manang.

According to the chief district officer of Manang, Matrika Acharya, according to the decision made by the inter-district security and coordination meeting between Manang and Lamjung District Security Committee a few days ago, vehicle operation has been banned from June 20th. yes He informed that the vehicle operation has been banned from night till 6 am the next morning.

Due to the rains, public, private and government vehicles on the Bensihar-Chame-Khangsar (Upper Manang) road section at night until further decisions are taken to prevent damage to passengers and vehicles. The administration said that the operation has been stopped.

According to Assistant Chief District Officer Yuvraj Aryal, vehicles are prohibited from leaving Manang Nisyang Rural Municipality-4 Humde to Manang headquarters Chame after 6:30 pm. It has been arranged that the vehicles will not be allowed to leave from Koto near Chame after 4:30 pm for Benisihar. Those vehicles will have to leave Taldanda police station located in Nason rural municipality-1 before 6:30 pm.

Likewise, vehicles going from Lamjung to Manang must enter Manang from Marsyangdi Rural Municipality-4, Jagat via Taldanda before 7 pm. According to the administration, the vehicle operation was opened after 6 am.

In the case of emergency vehicles such as security agencies and ambulances, the administration said that after analyzing the situation at the time, in coordination with the District Police Office and the District Traffic Police Office, the operation arrangements will be arranged based on justification.
