1 person died in a jeep accident on Saturday night in Falewas Municipality-8 Thanamaula of the district. District Traffic Police Office Parbat has informed that a Bolero jeep numbered DH 1 J 697 was involved in an accident at Samindhara Nepane in Thanamaula.
39-year-old Dol Bahadur Chhetri of Thanamaula, who was seriously injured in the accident, died. Police Inspector Ram Prasad Sapkota said that he died during treatment at Gandaki Medical College Pokhara.
Bal Bahadur Gurung, Head of Traffic Police, District Traffic Police Office, Parbat, said that the jeep which was going from Lamaykhola in Nepane towards Falamkhani went out of control and the accident happened. According to him, the driver, 34-year-old Vikram Sunar of Falewas Municipality-7 Limithana and another passenger, Suraj Vishwakarma, 33-year-old of Thanamaula Municipality-8, were injured.
41-year-old Man Bahadur Vick, who was missing in an accident, was rescued from a local's shed on Sunday morning. Police said that he has been brought to Kushma for treatment.
After primary treatment at Provincial Hospital, Parbat, further treatment is being done at Gandaki Medical College, Pokhara. The jeep that had an accident fell 150 meters down from the road . Information Officer Police Inspector Sapkota said that after receiving the news of the jeep accident, policemen from Falewas Police Station reached and rescued the injured and took them to Provincial Hospital Parbat.
