Nepalese youth without contact from Sitapur in India, family requesting embassy

Muna Gurung of Palungtar Municipality-6 Ukhubari was shocked by the voice message sent by her husband Anil Gurung, who is in India for employment, in the morning of 26th June. It was said in the message, "The old woman is trying to kill me today, I may not come home, I did not even apologize for my mistake."

Muna was shocked after hearing Anil's desperate speech. Texted, called. Anil did not get in touch after that. "He used to call every now and then, today it's been 18 days, he is not in touch," said Muna.

Anil, who has been in India for employment for 10 years, went to Kedarnath in Uttar Pradesh from Delhi, India to work as a wage earner a month and a half ago. Muna said that while she was returning home from Kedarnath, she became uncontactable from Sitapur Bus Park.

'After coming from Kedarnath to the bus park, the bus to Rishikesh and Haridwar was waiting, one of my friends sent him in a cab,' Mrs. Muna said, 'From there, he went to Sitapur bus station.

When Anil, who was returning to Nepal, reached Sitapur  Was in touch with the family . "Even while boarding the bus, there was a gossip with my brother, he used to tell me whether I should get off in the middle," she said.

Muna reached Kedarnath a week ago with her father-in-law Purna Bahadur and neighbor Tika Bahadur Gurung in search of her husband. She complained that she could not find out about her husband's condition no matter what she did. "We have come to the place where the police are, we have also looked at the CC camera," she said, "I don't understand the language of the new place, they said that the CC camera of the bus park only records for a week, they said that we have reached there but we have not found any news." 

Muna said that she had a dispute with a Nepali friend while talking on the phone the day before. "I feel that something has happened because of that, there is no such thing," she said. 

Family members who came to India in search of Anil are not only in trouble because they don't understand the language, they also complain about not getting help from the Nepali Embassy in India. "We did not find a base in an unknown place, we are afraid to reach the place called Garigun's helipad in Kedarnath where Anil lives. We heard that there was an enmity with someone while staying there," said Tika Bahadur, who came to India in search of Anil. He says that it would be a basis if the Nepali Embassy in India also helps in the search. 

"A person came in contact with us saying that he was from the embassy. One day and one night we reached Delhi with high hopes. Then one of them gave the number of the other and gave the number of three or four people," Tika Bahadur said, "After the last person told us to come two hundred kilometers further, we couldn't decide whether he was from the embassy or not. We have returned to Kedarnath without finding anyone from the embassy."

He said that they are currently searching for Anil near Sonpard police station in Kedarnath area of ​​India. Anil was living near the helipad of Garugun in Kedarnath. "While living in Garuguna, I tried to understand him even at the place of eating, he was a friend of Nuwakot who worked together". They also don't want to talk to us,' he said.

30-year-old Anil has been coming and going to India for work since a decade ago.
