Due to rain on Thursday evening, the traffic operation on the south road of Mahendra Highway has been stopped. Due to the risk of vehicles falling in the flood coming to Binayi river, the police stopped the traffic.

'There is a risk of the vehicle getting stuck in the fall. On the other hand, due to the risk of flooding in the Binayi River at any time, the highway has been closed by the police from 7:00 p.m.

The road division office of Bharatpur issued a public notice 5 days ago and banned the operation of goods vehicles and llamas on the Daunne road section from 7 pm to 5 am. From Tuesday evening to Thursday evening at 6 pm, all the vehicles stopped in this section were crossing east-west.

'If it had not rained, there would have been no need to stop the highway,' said the police.

Due to the lack of heavy rain in the last three days, traffic was suspended on the dry road from Tuesday evening. Traffic was also operated from the diversion of Binayi Khola from Wednesday evening.

After the iron bridge on Binayi River in Dumkiwas broke down on 26th January, a diversion has been made to the north side of it and the traffic has been operating.

In the Bakamlang area of Palpa, which is the mouth of the Binayi river in Dumkiwas, the diversion here is flowing when it rains.
