The local levels of Tanahun have proposed a budget of 7 billion 93 million rupees for the next fiscal year 2082/83.

10 municipalities including 4 municipalities and 6 rural municipalities of the district have proposed a budget of 7 billion 93 crore 81 lakh 50 thousand rupees.

Byas Municipality, the oldest municipality of the district, has proposed a budget of one billion 75 million 84 lakh 19 thousand rupees in the 43rd Municipal Assembly. Similarly, Shuklagandaki Municipality has proposed a budget of 1 billion 2476 million 33 thousand 962 rupees, Bhanu Municipality 8859 million 4 thousand rupees and Bhimad Municipality has proposed a budget of 6372 million 60 thousand 370 rupees.

Similarly, Ambukhaireni Rural Municipality has brought a budget of Rs 62 crore 822 thousand 83, Ghiring Rural Municipality Rs 45 crore, Rishing Rural Municipality Rs 52 crore 40 lakh 95 thousand 447, Myagde Rural Municipality Rs 68 crore 76 lakh 36 thousand, Bandipur Rural Municipality Rs 649 million 5 thousand and Devghat Rural Municipality has brought a budget of Rs 47 crore 73 lakh 75 thousand rupees .
