A mobile toilet has been installed at Bardghat targeting passengers and bus drivers and co-drivers who are stuck in traffic jams after the road is blocked in Dumkibas and Narayangarh-Butwal road section under the East-West highway.

Passengers who are stuck in the market area are having trouble defecating  Bardghat Municipality   Ghumti toilets have been placed in the main market area of ​​Bardghat in coordination with Bardghat Jessis and Bardghat water supply. City chief Shambhulal Shrestha said that a mobile toilet has been installed for the convenience of passengers who could not reach their destination due to traffic jams. 

After two days of passengers who were stuck in jams complained that they had problems defecating, the municipality issued a notice and ordered toilets in the houses and hotel restaurants in the market area. It was requested to use it.

By doing this, the locals of Dumkibas in East Nawalparasi have managed the stranded passengers with lunch, water and food free of charge. Chairman of Dumkibas Bazaar Management Committee, Pabitra Bahadur Jisi, said that the local residents spontaneously helped and fed the passengers. More than 1,500 passengers have eaten food and snacks in two days. Those stuck in the jam walked from Dumkibas to Bardghat. 

Currently, the road is being repaired by placing gravel in some places in the southern section. The road department has issued a notification that all types of vehicles have been banned from seven in the evening to five in the morning on this section of the road and the administration has requested to use alternative roads as much as possible.
