Landslides have damaged 6 houses in Madi Rural Municipality of Kaski. Two houses in Madi-1 Khilang and four houses in Madi-6 Taprang were damaged due to the landslide that fell after the incessant rain last night.
Devijung Gurung, Ward President of Madi-1, said that due to the landslide that fell from the house in Kilang, two houses were moderately damaged and two buffaloes were buried and died.
Madi-6 Ward President Dil Bahadur Chhetri informed that 3 houses were damaged in Vedikhark and four houses in Sayapatri toll.
Two houses of Veer Bahadur Rana, a resident of Bhedikharak, Sant Bahadur Rana of the same place and Surya Bahadur Magar of Sayapatri village were damaged. ``There was no human loss in the incident. It is not possible to live in all four houses,' he said.
He said that the landslide removal work has been going on since morning.
