Kaligandaki Corridor has been blocked due to a landslide in Baglung Municipality-10 Dablyang last night. The Maldhunga Kushmisera road has also been blocked due to landslides caused by the overnight rain on Thursday.
All vehicles traveling through the corridor and going to South Baglung have come to a standstill after the road was blocked. Passengers who have traveled a long distance to Palpa and Butwal and come to Baglung from there are stranded on this road. Similarly, the vehicles from Dakshin Baglung, which were supposed to come to the headquarters by transporting milk and vegetables daily, were also stranded, Assistant Inspector Gangaram Bik of Maldhunga police station informed. According to him, the work of removing the landslide is going on now.
