Baglung's Dhorpatan Municipality has allocated five lakhs to make the country debt-free. 'Dhorpatan has allocated five lakh budget for the campaign to make the country debt-free when there is more than 26 billion in debt in the country,' said Navin Sherchan, a member of the municipal executive.

In the budget presented by Acting City Chief Dhan Bahadur Kayat, it is mentioned that 500,000 has been allocated for the campaign to make the country debt-free. Sherchan says that everyone should understand their responsibility and join hands in the campaign to make Nepal a debt-free country. 

In the policy and program and budget of the fiscal year 2082/083 passed by the 17th Municipal Assembly on Thursday, the municipality has appealed to the government and non-government organizations to join hands in the campaign to make the country debt-free.
