One person has died after drowning in Khudi River located in Bandipur Rural Municipality-3. According to the district police, 53-year-old Mangal Nepali of Bandipur-3 Seratar is the deceased.

District Police Deputy Superintendent Ashok Thapa said that during the search of the Nepali, who had lost contact without telling anyone at home last Saturday, the clothes and slippers used by him were found near the Khudi river. He said that the body was found floating in the river on Monday during a search at the same place.

The local police office Bandipur has said that the preliminary investigation including post-mortem examination of the dead body has been completed at the scene of the incident and the body has been handed over to the relatives of the deceased after the autopsy. District Police Office Tanahun has informed that further investigation is underway regarding the incident.
