A young man has gone missing while swimming in the Pardi River in Pokhara Metropolitan City-17.

About 26-year-old Suresh Tamang, who lives in Dhading Ghar, Pokhara-17 Titepani, drowned while swimming and went missing on Monday night. He was swimming under the Fewa Dam bridge.

DSP Hari Bahadur Basnet, Information Officer of District Police Office Kaski, said that the search for him went missing at 7:40 p.m.

The incident site is behind the dam of Phewatal in Pokhara. The water released from the dam falls through the Pardi River to David Falls, a famous tourist destination in Pokhara.
