Economic Affairs Minister Takaraj Gurung has reached the state assembly to present the budget of the Gandaki state government for the next fiscal year 2082-83.

He reached the provincial assembly with the budget statement in his bag. Finance Minister Gurung reached the state assembly 45 minutes late despite the agenda of presenting the budget at 4 pm.

Minister Gurung's personal secretary Bishnu Dhakal said that the bag made of aloe was bought in Pokhara. Finance Minister and Social Development, Youth and Sports Minister Vindukumar Thapa went together and bought the bag. It is around 2 thousand rupees. It was bought in Pokhara,' said Dhakal.

Now the budget speech is going on. A budget of around 32 billion rupees is being announced for the next financial year.

Last year, Finance Minister Gurung took the budget statement in a black briefcase.
