The victim locked the house of Nepali, the founder president of Image Cooperative

The Victims' Struggle Committee has locked up the house of Dev Kumar Nepali, the founder chairman of Image Savings and Credit Cooperative and the head of Dhorpatan Municipality, which is located in "Karma Complex" at Baglung Bazar.

Officials of the Image Victims Sangharsh Samiti locked the house on Saturday saying that the house was sold with the connivance of the bank while he was in jail in the Nepali cooperative fraud case. Various shops were operating for rent on the ground floor of this house. The initial rent of that shop was collected by Sangharsh Committee.

Currently, the said complex has been purchased by Ram Bahadur and Goma Chhetri of Banpa-11. He said that the Chhetri family, currently living in America, started charging the rent of the building and locked it. "We were forced to lock the property worth 20/22 crores due to collusion," said Dil Bahadur Karki, chairman of the committee. Alleging that the sale was done in collusion, the victims had locked up and staged a sit-in at the Baglung branch of the National Co-operative Bank for two days last week.

On the other hand, Pokhara High Court, Baglung Bench has issued an order not to immediately auction the real estate in the name of Rashtriya Sahakari Bank Limited Lalitpur last Wednesday. In the order, it is mentioned that he should not/do not do the work of auctioning his properties. The said order was issued by the single bench headed by Justice Natibabu Lamichhane who is the head of High Court Pokhara, Baglung Bench, according to Rule 42 (1) of High Court Rules, 2/73. In the

order, it is said that a deadline notice will be issued to the opposition on June 9 for discussion for the interim order. In Baglung municipality-2, a large house built in lot number 457, 458 and 459 and a small house built in lot number 887 were auctioned. Arjun Shrestha, manager of the bank, said that according to the rules of Nepal Rastra Bank, the real estate was auctioned.
