Indian yoga guru Ramdev's Patanjali Yoga Peeth and Ayurvedic Company has stopped the construction of a structure that was started to operate a girls' gurukul at Dumkauli in East Nawalparasi. A year and a half ago, after purchasing about 27 bigha of land, Patanjali had started the plan to operate the Gurukul.
A team led by Ramdev's aide Acharya Balakrishna came and planned to operate a girls' gurukul in Meghapark on the banks of Narayani. Balakrishna, who came to see the land, had posted a picture on his Facebook saying that he would purchase Meghapark in Dumkauli and operate a girls' gurukul.
This land belongs to Devchuli Municipality-1. Patanjali purchased the 17 bigha land registered in the name of Siddhakumar & Sons and Siddhakumar Shrestha and around 10 bigha of Ailani land.

This work is being done according to Balakrishna's instructions to operate a girl's gurukul (Vedic school) in Meghapark . For this, Patanjali brought an engineer from Haridwar, India. The structure was being 'renovated' and painted. Sources say that even though the work has been increased for Kanya Gurukul, preparations have also been started for the operation of the wellness center.
There is an intermediate area near Megha Park on the banks of the Narayani River, while Chitwan National Park is located in the southeast. 
Experts say that there is a paper for the purchase of land for 25 crores and Patanjali has already handed over 17 crores to the land owner Shrestha . Krishna KC, the ward president of Devchuli-1, said that he had received the information taken by the Yogpeeth and could not come to pass the land registration. "There was talk of coming to get a recommendation to pass the land, but they have not come yet," he said.
Patanjali's manager Dolraj Gayre said that the Gurukul could be started around next Dasain. "There is a possibility that one of Acharya Balakrishna and Ramdev Guru will come and start the work around Dasain," he said. He said that the famous Indian religious leader Dhirendra Shastri was also scheduled to come at that time. According to Acharya Balakrishna's instructions and engineer's design, although some physical structures are under construction, they are currently stopped.
'We have planted paddy in 5 bighas . There is also vegetable farming. We are people who cut the grass and take care of the house . There is not much more information,' Gayre said, 'One sister who came from Patanjali Yogpeeth Haridwar and I have been waiting for the structure here . The construction work is currently halted due to various rumours.'

According to the Abuse of Authority Investigation Commission, illegal purchase and use of land in the name of Singh in Kathmandu Valley, Kavrepalanchok etc. An investigation has also been initiated against Singh in money laundering and banking offences.
